Octavia Spencer attended the 17th annual Hollywood Film Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in California yesterday evening.

Yes, she wore Tadashi Shoji – it’s the gift that keeps on giving.

On this occasion the designer created this black chiffon dress with blue embroidery for his muse which was inspired by his Fall 2013 collection.

I love the youthful feel from this look, especially when styled with those Giuseppe Zanotti black platform cut-out booties.

A black Edie Parker clutch and an updo with wavy tendrils completed her look.
