The front row at Louis Vuitton was full of glamorous stars.
The US flew the much-loved Sarah Jessica Parker over. Asia did the same with their biggest star, Fan Bingbing, whilst the UK sent Abbey Clancy to represent us.
I mean really? Was Alexa Chung not available?
Whilst the WAG / TV presenter / lads’ mag model doesn’t have the same status as Bingbing or Parker, she did look good on this occasion.
No gimmicks, no exposed bra, just a feathered Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 white coat over a pink satin dress which she accessorized with white LV silver toe-cap pumps.
A ballerina bun and barely-there makeup completed her look.

Given the low success rate of this collection I’m surprised that she managed to pull this look off. I’m not sure I would’ve liked if it had been just the dress.

She looked fine. It’s not a flattering photo, but she managed to look skinnier and taller than the model. Now, who do you think should represent the UK? Forget about Alexa Chung. I like her street style and want her legs, but I’m not delusional enough to believe she’s famous for anything other than being a celebrity. I couldn’t come up with an actress that’s as loved and stlylish as SJP yet doesn’t have a conflict. The Transformer girl represents Burberry and Knightly gets paid by Chanel. Sienna Miller doesn’t command much fan love anymore. I thought Cat Deeley would be perfect.
