Best Dressed Of The Week – Gwyneth Paltrow In Tom Ford

Despite many of you having such strong feeling against this Gwyneth Paltorw’s Tom Ford look at the 2012 Oscars, she still won BDOTW by a very large margin.

The hair and cape seemed to bother some, but I think this was one of Gwyneth’s best ever red carpet looks, as she stood head and shoulders above everyone else who played it safe.

Her looks was clean, minimalist, understated and luxurious.

A worthy winner.

I’m glad this won because it feels quite different to what people usually wear to the Oscars. In fact, while I was a bit disappointed at the time by the red carpet, in retrospect I’m pleased that we didn’t see big, pouffy princess gowns this year. I’m really over that whole look.

    AGREED!!

I can’t vote in the polls anymore since the site changed, but she totally would have gotten my vote. Love the classy minimalism.
