On what could be her last night out as George Clooney’s plus one, as Award Season draws to a close, Stacy Keibler went out with a bang on the red carpet tonight at the 2012 Oscars.
The actress was glowing like the golden Oscar statue wearing not just any Marchesa gown, but my favourite Marchesa gown from the recent Fall 2012 collection.
Even though I’m devastated that Amber Heard now won’t get to wear this gown, Stacy more than does justice to this gold lame off the shoulder column draped frock.
Side swept golden locks and gold accessories completed her look.

I agree. It is a fabulous gown, but I think it would have worked better on someone with a darker skin tone and darker hair (like the model). On Stacy it just looks a bit blah and samey-samey.

Ever since the show I’ve been DYING to see this on the red carpet and she indeed does it justice! It literally was a J-LO/ P diddy Nicole/ Tom Elizabeth / Hugh moment where she wasn’t on his arm she stepped into the limelight. THIS is a coming out dress! Gorgeous!

I am seriously LOLing. What a sad, sad position to be in but I guess that’s the reality of dating George Clooney.
I like this gown very much. But I get a very non-Hollywood vibe from Stacy no matter how “in” she is at the moment. Amber Heard would have rocked this look like no other.

I ADORE tis dress on her I actually pictured it on her, given that she was at the show.
I kinda wish that her hair was jsut better, shinier,a bti mroe old hollywood glamour, to match hte high-octane glamour of the dress, but she still looks stunning.
I know this was a very popular dress but I don’t love it. The twirled gold detail on the hip throws it off for me, and I prefer Marchesa’s more tulle-y volume-y designs.

wish someone more voluptuous (like amber heard or even beyonce) could wear this gown. would have added a whole new dimension to the look. but nevertheless, like you said, stacy does justice. so no complains.
What a delightfully tongue-in-cheek take on her ‘trophy girlfriend’ image while at the same time paying homage to the Oscar statue. I adore! She looks stunning.
I do wish she had styled her hair in sleeker, glossier curls and painted her lips a dramtic red though. This dress deserves a little better than her current hair and makeup situation.

Stunning! I don’t know who Amber Heard is, though she’s been on the blog. I’m glad Stacy wore the gown first. She’s my favorite Clooney girlfriend in recent years. Just love her sunny disposition – it’s very American. Not too Barbie, but very warm and happy-go-lucky.

Love the dress, dislike the hair. Just not feeling it, hair/skin just blend together. Maybe a stronger lip would help.

I agree. Its a shame that that such a beautiful dress when to one of George Clooney’s “plus ones”. If it was wore on someone more important it would have easily been on of the ocsars most iconic dresses.
