For Fall 2012 Monique Lhuiller took a dramatic turn as she amped up the glamour with sexy red carpet gowns with rich reds, sultry black, opulent shimmering gold and fiery volcanic prints.
Add cut-outs, black and red lace and leather accents and we are going to see plenty of jaw-dropping moments on the red carpet.
Whilst Monique is known for her red carpet gowns, she did also send models down the runway in uber-sleek pantsuits, and a gold embellished jumpsuit.
The collection was high on glamour and fashion-forward elements, but I don’t think this will scare off her clients as she has managed to marry classic 40s glamour in a modern, sophisticated way.
With the Oscars just two weeks away, I won’t be surprised to see many of these looks on the red carpet very soon.
Models’ tresses were lacquered and loose with Val Garland for MAC applying that luscious rich matte red colour to their perfect pouts.
Front Row: Camila Alves and Nina Dobrev
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Blake Lively, Nina Dobrev, Rose McGowan, Kristen Wiig, Penelope Cruz, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jennifer Carpenter, Kristen Stewart, Olivia Wilde, Dita von Teese, Emmy Rossum and Ashley Greene

Mmm.. love the departure from sugary designs! I think it´s a safe bet to say that both Nina & Camilla will rock them soon. I´d personally want Nina to rock the lace froufrou number. I want Camilla´s dress.
I love this collection. The suits and the black dress with the collar look so stunning. I hope that someone is going to wear them who’s able to make them look stunning.
Camila looked beautiful!
Anne would rock that dress.
This collection is amazing.
I love the entire collection, it just smoulders sexy!
I NEED to see this last red dress at the Oscars. It just scream Oscars!
Oh I hope that Angelina snags that top right strapless gown for the Oscars! Man would she blow people away!
Nina posted on her twitter about how much she loved that last gown! I wouldn’t be surprised if she wore it!
Camilla’s yellow dress is to die for!
I love the suits, i love the collection
why does this collection remind me of Alexander McQueen, under Sarah Burton from last awards season?
Agree!
I absolutely had a deja vu moment seeing the first strapless red print – reminded me of McQueen Resort 2011
Oh my goodness this collection is super sexy! Camilla and Nina both look really good, love their dresses.
Got to say I kind of miss her sweet aesthetic…this is cool but too edgy for me. That’s not to say I didn’t love some of the pieces it just wasn’t my favorite collection by her.
