The dress would be perfect for a casual afternoon in LA or a more laidback event like the ‘Independent Spirit Awards’, but it’s far too casual for a major awards ceremony.
A beachy side-braid and a long beaded Irene Neuwirth necklace adds to the ‘Hawaii vacation’ look.
You would never guess Busy is actually on the red carpet.

Nice ensemble for shopping and lunch with the girls but completely wrong for an event like this.
It’s a nice enough look, but I agree, way to casual for the event.
I could`ve forgiven it being too casual if at least it was flattering and not overaccessorized. This looks like a frumpy maternity wear (my apologies if she is pregnant). Should`ve ditched half of her jewelry.

I love Busy but I wonder what was she thinking when she left the house dressed like this. This outfit is totally out of place and – what is worse – lifeless, without any personality.

The minute I saw this, I too, thought ‘Independent Spirit Awards’. Perhaps at one time the SAG awards were a hang loose type of event, but not anymore.
How can Michelle Williams be her best friend and not tell her this is totally wrong for an event like this!? Michelle has so much style, she must see that this is awfull on Busy. I guess Michelle Williams must be one bad girlfriend!
