Melissa McCarthy added some sparkle to the red carpet for the 2012 Critics’ Choice Awards.
The ‘Bridesmaids’ scene stealer shined in a sequined navy David Meister Spring 2012 gown with a modest neckline and elegant draping.
Melissa added a large gold pendant necklace which doesn’t really add anything to the look.
Polished curls, a black clutch and smoky eyes completed her look.

She looks great, I love her hair and makeup. Love the dress, it is beautiful
She is facing a tougher challenge of dressing for her body, and this gown is quite an acceptable choice for her except for the sleeves – too tight-fitting – slightly looser 3/4 length sleeves would`ve worked better for her. No need for the necklace, agree, earrings are enough. Plus a bit more flattering makeup and a slightly thicker eyebrows.

Agree with the necklace being unnecessary but everything else is perfect! dress, hair and makeup. I think it was bold to wear an entire sequin dress but it worked for her!
