Cate Blanchett In Acne Studios – ‘The House With A Clock In Its Walls’ Rome Film Festival Photocall

Cate Blanchett In Acne Studios - 'The House With A Clock In Its Walls' Rome Film Festival Photocall

Cate Blanchett is at Rome Film Festival promoting ‘The House With A Clock In Its Walls’ this afternoon (October 19) Italy at the official photocall.

The thing I love about Cate is that I feel she is constantly evolving.

And this current phase is the most intriguing yet.

I have a strong belief that even had she opted to wear this Acne Studios suit from the Spring 2019 collection without the embellishments, she still would’ve knocked this look out of the fashion ballpark, because what she sells first and foremost is confidence, and grace.

No doubt, when it Rome she’ll wear Armani Prive for the premiere. I’m not sure she can outdo Venice, but I’m sure she’ll try.

Cailee Spaeny In Miu Miu Collection & Valentino – ‘Bad Times at the El Royale’ Rome Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

Cailee Spaeny In Miu Miu Collection & Valentino - 'Bad Times at the El Royale' Rome Film Festival Photocall & Premiere

With Dakota Johnson in London promoting ‘Suspiria’, her 21-year-old co-star Cailee Spaeny was thrust into the spotlight for the Rome Film Festival press conference and premiere for ‘Bad Times At The El Royale’ on Thursday (October 18) in Italy.

Photocall: In this white Miu Miu collection lace dres the actress served up sweet, feminine elegance. Gold Miu Miu sandals added a touch of modernity to the look.

Premiere: I keep looking at this smokey blue Valentino Resort 2019 gown because on the one hand I simply adore the mushroom cloud effect and the unbridled fantasy of it all. But I keep going back and forth with that ruffled neckline. From one angle I love it, from others it appears overwhelming.

Rosamund Pike In Christian Dior & Christian Dior Couture – ‘Hostiles’ Rome Film Festival

Rosamund Pike was promoting her latest film, ‘Hostiles’ during the 12th Rome Film Festival today (October 26) in Italy, opting for two Dior dresses for the occasion.

Photocall: It’s impossible not to feel like the most confident woman in the room when you’re armed with crimson red dress. And that’s what Rosamund is portraying in this Dior Pre-Fall 2017 number. The dress’ simplicity is what makes it so incredibly chic, so Rosamund kept things simple with just Dior ‘D-Lice’ sandals.

Nicoletta Romanoff In Valentino – Rome Film Festival People’s Choice Awards Ceremony

Nicoletta Romanoff In Valentino - Rome Film Festival People's Choice Awards Ceremony

Nicoletta Romanoff attended a ceremony for the People’s Choice Awards during the 9th Rome Film Festival on Saturday (October 25) in Rome, Italy.

I was delighted to see the actress wear one of my favourite pieces from the Valentino Resort 2015 collection.

The romantic folkloric long-sleeved tulle gown decorated with colourful embroidery is such an artful creation, one that should be held up as an icon of luxury and the epitome of feminine glamour.

Yes, I had it earmarked for Florence Welch, but Nicoletta more than does it justice, even though I do wish her hair was worn back.

Rinko Kikuchi In Chanel Couture – ‘Last Summer’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

Rinko Kikuchi In Chanel Couture - 'Last Summer' Rome Film Festival Premiere

Rinko Kikuchi attended the ‘Last Summer’ premiere held during the 9th Rome Film Festival at the Auditorium Parco della Musica on Saturday (October 18) in Rome, Italy.

The actress wore a Chanel Spring 2014 Couture gold sleeveless corseted dress embroidered with multicolour pastel sequins.

It’s quite a unique, hard-to-pull-off design, yet her poise and confidence, plus the complementary Chanel gold accessories, help her master this look with relative ease.

Lily Collins In Elie Saab Couture – ‘Love, Rosie’ Rome Film Festival Premiere

Lily Collins In Elie Saab Couture - 'Love, Rosie' Rome Film Festival Premiere

Lily Collins looked ever so graceful on the red carpet yesterday evening (October 19) for the ‘Love, Rosie’ premiere during the 9th Rome Film Festival in Rome, Italy following the photocall during the day.

While some of you have bemoaned Elie Saab’s repetitive gowns, I’m sure your heart skipped several beats, like mine did, when you saw Lily take to the red carpet in this elegant Elie Saab Spring 2014 Couture ombre gown.

It’s the one we all wanted to see on the red carpet, perhaps on the likes of Penelope Cruz, Mila Kunis or (wishful thinking) Marion Cotillard, but Lily more than holds her own in this breathtaking design.

Yet another bold lip, this time in a darker berry hue, perfects this look along with a retro wavy bob ‘do, with Vita Fede jewelry rounding out her look.

This has BDOTY contention written all over it. Will it make your list?
