‘Widows’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

'Widows' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

An ‘A’ list cast for ‘Widows’ took to the red carpet for the premiere during 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday (September 8) in Canada.

Elizabeth Debicki: If Cate Blanchett is the queen of all things Armani Privé, then Elizabeth is the princess. The Australian actress was oozing old Hollywood glamour in this black silk velvet Fall 2018 gown with a gold bodice embroidered with champagne-coloured crystals which was a perfect testament to her graceful style. Birks jewels – a favourite of the Duchess of Sussex – completed her look.

Colin Farrell: Formerly known as devotee to Dolce & Gabbana, it appears the Irish actor now has a penchant for the fine tailoring of Dior Men. With guys like Chadwick Boseman taking risks, and Timothée Chalamet making a bold return to the red carpet this weekend, you might not feel too connected to this look, but you should never frown upon classic style.

Viola Davis: In calling Viola’s black Elizabeth Kennedy dress basic, I do so with all due respect. It was the perfect canvas for her to be creative and with her House of Yimama tribal choker. Not only does it bring so much colour, culture and vibrancy to her look, it also shows her flare for style.

2018 Producers Guild Awards Red Carpet Roundup

The 2018 Producers Guild Awards was the event to attend in Los Angeles on Saturday (January 20), with a host of star making appearances.

Holly Hunter: While this look isn’t going to remain in our minds for long, I love the high waist and geometric-print bodice on the Elizabeth Kennedy Spring 2017 gown. A perfect blowout and arms that are giving us all major workout inspo are keeping Holly on the fashion map.

Timothee Chalamet: The ‘Call Me By Your Name’ actor has certainly been stretching his fashion legs his first award season, and continues to experiment. Since we have mostly seen him in more shrunken styles, this slightly oversized double-breasted jacket seems to be a departure. I’m not crazy about it on its own, but I like it as a entry into his overall body of red carpet ‘work’.

Leslie Mann: I consider Leslie to be one of the most underrated stars to regularly grace the red carpet, and this Reem Acra gown, paired with Irene Neuwirth jewels proves my point: The gown has absolutely everything I love in a gown: Bright colors, a gorgeous print, exquisite detailing and and overall joyful vibe. Thanks for never letting me down, Leslie.

Madeline Brewer In Elizabeth Kennedy – 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards

Madeline Brewer was one of the lovely ladies in attendance at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, California, alongside Alexis Bledel and Zoe Kazan.

The ‘Orange is the New Black’ actress made a dazzling statement in an Elizabeth Kennedy Spring 2017 gown.

A silhouette like this may be classic, but it’s the unexpected colour combination that made it feel au courant.

The shimmering rose gold skirt lit up the red carpet and played off her hair colour.

The icy blue bodice was a surprising juxtaposition, but now that I’ve seen it with the skirt, I am a fan.

Finishing the look off, was the deep red velvet belt and Irene Neuwirth jewels.

The BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party

There were many more stars in attendance at the BAFTA Los Angeles Tea Party, joining Diane Kruger on Saturday (January 6).

Michelle Williams: As we might have predicted, the actress was dressed in a Louis Vuitton design—this one a basic variation on a sheath dress with a graphic pattern to add visual interest.

Issa Rae: Continuing her sunny-yellow mood from the 2018 AFI Awards, Issa donned a Rosie Assoulin Spring 2018 frock that featured a sense of girly playfulness in the oversized ruffle detail. With Monica Vinader jewels to round out the look, she kept the styling simple and sleek this time around.

Emma Watson: Emma debuted a short set of bangs that had a certain Sofia Boutella influence to go with her Osman Resort 2018 ensemble. The sharp look prominently celebrated the menswear trend, with Susi Studio loafers contributing to that theme.

Karolina Kurkova In Elizabeth Kennedy – 2017 Kennedy Center Honors

Karolina Kurkova was at the 2017 Kennedy Center Honors on Saturday (December 2) in Washington, D.C.

The supermodel was nothing short of stunningly statuesque in her Elizabeth Kennedy Spring 2018 pearl-embellished gown.

While one might think this mauve colour could fall a bit flat, that was certainly not the case on Karolina as the entire look flaunted a subtly strong dynamic.

I love the delicate nature of the chiffon sleeves to soften the halter neckline and the column-esque form of the design, with her sleek bun to complete the effect in elegant form.

Lucy Liu In Elizabeth Kennedy – 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards

Lucy Liu presented a Dolce & Gabbana-clad James Franco with the Best Actor award for ‘The Disaster,’ at the 2017 Gotham Independent Film Awards on Monday (November 27) in New York City.

As some may know Lucy is my number one girl, so it pains me to say I couldn’t get on board with her Elizabeth Kennedy Spring 2018 dress.

Had the skirt had the same finesse we can see in the look book, I perhaps I could’ve forced myself to raise a smile for this one, but I don’t find the style that flattering to begin with.

I only see someone like Erin O’Connor or Dita von Teese pulling something like this off.

Mary J. Blige In Elizabeth Kennedy – ‘Mudbound’ London Film Festival Premiere

I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of Mary J. Blige’s style – until now.

The singer/actress looked breathtaking on the red carpet this evening (October 5) for the London Film Festival premiere of ‘Mudbound’.

Much like Claire Foy, the actress scored a red carpet PB in her Elizabeth Kennedy Resort 2018 gown.

I love how the elegant floor-sweeping silhouette evokes a feeling of Old Hollywood glamour, and stand collar and bow detail sets this apart from the typical black red carpet gown.

I’m sure many are disappointed, but not surprised by the fur stole.
