Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ Red Carpet Roundup

Marie Claire’s 5th Annual ‘Fresh Faces’ event brought out a bevy of beauties on Friday (April 27) in Los Angeles, California. They joined Storm ReidAngela Sarafyan and Yara Shahidi.

Skai Jackson: The Disney actress looked sweet in Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018. This is not the first look I would have expected from the designer with his classic, minimalist aesthetic, but think it suits her to a tee. The white and pink tie dye print and oversized T-shirt dress design are fun and feminine. The accessories also add fashion-forward appeal.

Madelaine Petsch: Opting for coordinates, the ‘Riverdale’ actress wore a head-turning Prada Spring 2018 look. Some might crave a cleaner finish, but everything is working from the stripes to the leopard spots to the graphic print in the Prada printed blouse. It presents a sophisticated rock ‘n roll sentiment.

Katherine Langford: The ‘Marie Claire’ cover girl embraced a retro romantic mood in a Markarian custom Fall 2018 dress. While the belted silhouette might be classic, the glittery pale pink fabric with red accents brought it into modern times.

Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party Red Carpet Roundup

There was no shortage of memorable looks at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday (March 4) in West Hollywood, California.

Karolina Kurkova: Look closely at the Czech model’s Balmain Pre-Fall 2018 suit as the fabric has a marvelous texture that’s flecked with sparkles on the collar. It might not have been the loudest look, but it was unique and nice to see another pants option.

Darby Stanchfield: The ‘Scandal’ actress celebrated floral and fauna with her Teresa Helbig gown. Unfortunately, there were too many opposing elements between the print, sequins, sharp neckline and the sparkling bag. I can see some saying it’s a lesser version of Gucci.

Petra Nemcova: The philanthropist and model struck a pose in a sunny Celia Kritharioti gown. It was a well-executed look with her waves echoing the ruffled shoulder detail. The red lipstick and high slit added allure to the cheerful fabric.

Harper’s BAZAAR CDGA Celebration

Harper’s BAZAAR and the CDG celebrated the top costume designers and nominees of the 20th CDGA with an event on Saturday (February 17) in West Hollywood, California

Serayah McNeill: This highlighter-yellow Alexandre Vauthier fitted mini dress may not have been anything new, but it fit her to a T and the colour was a bright revelation—plus the drape at the front added more sultry appeal. Giuseppe Zanotti gold sandals rounded out her look.

Laura Marano: The beauty of this Tadashi Shoji Spring 2018 design was in its colouful floral embroidery, to which the sheer elements offered just an elegant hint at peek-a-boo allure. A Tadashi Shoji ‘Charlotte’ clutch completed the look.

Hong Chau: Personalized and progressive, Hong edged up her frothy baby-blue Adeam dress with an Adeam Spring 2018 metallic embossed jacket.

Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

The stars came out in full force for Entertainment Weekly’s Screen Actors Guild Awards Celebration on Saturday (January 20).

Crystal Reed: There’s a lot to love about Crystal’s Dion Lee Spring 2018 look, but the pleated skirt steal the show for me. I love the overlay that gives it a dual-color effect.

Tommy Dorfman: I’ve always been wholly on-board with Tommy’s obvious love of fashion and willingness to experiment, but I literally can’t even with this. I feel like the entire thing is just trying too hard, and is completely unflattering.

Sarah Hyland: This velvet and satin asymmetrical Self Portrait Fall 2017 gown is as fun and perky and Sarah herself. And us usual, Sarah’s hair and makeup team knocked it out of the park.

2017 American Music Awards Red Carpet Roundup

There were plenty more music lovers who joined Ciara, Selena Gomez and Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 19) in LA.

Bebe Rexha: You’ll be forgiven if you thought Bebe was Kim Kardashian in this black August Getty Atelier Spring 2018 Swarovski crystal strapless dress. The resemblance is uncanny.

Heidi Klum: The ‘Project Runway’ host went back into the archives to unearth this gorgeous vintage Versace gown.

Jenna Dewan Tatum: When it comes to the archetypal music awards dresses, Jenna totally nailed it with her custom Julien Macdonald gold embellished look. John Hardy jewels added yet more shine.

Post Emmys Parties

Following the big show, came the Emmy’s after parties hosted by HBO and FOX which saw a few celebrities change into second looks.

Julianne Hough: When it comes to after-parties, the idea is to switch into something more comfortable to get your groove on without the fear of someone stepping on the train you’ve been carrying around during the awards ceremony, but Julianne has different idea. She used the occasion to dress up again, wearing a Monique Lhuillier Spring 2018 gown with a train longer than her Marchesa gown. I love the ethereal nature of the gown, but I really dislike the clutch here and I feel like she’s a tad overdressed for the occasion.

Sarah Hyland: When I look at Sarah in this Vatanika Spring 2018 LBD, I’m like, “yes, she gets it. She came to party”.

harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue Party

More starlets were on the guest list for the harper by Harper’s BAZAAR September Issue party on Tuesday (August 22) in West Hollywood, California, joining cover girl Nina Dobrev along with Kat Graham, Julianne Hough, and Jessica Szohr.

Victoria Justice: Bringing a party frock out to play, Victoria donned a little Milly number that was cocktail-festive with its tinsel-like, golden metallic effect. Jimmy Choo pumps were more standard-issue, but with the pared-back styling, the flirty dress took top billing.

Claire Holt: Claire kept it simple in a Zimmermann wrap dress in a rich burgundy hue that heralded in thoughts of the fall season. Beach-y waves and Stuart Weitzman black sandals ensure the mood stayed lighter, though. Some of the creases in the dress made it seem just a tad less polished than it come have been, but it still put forth an effortless, breezy vibe.

Laura Marano: Some may be slightly put off by the visible nude underlining, but I loved this mesh, figure-skimming dress for its elegant refinement and subtle allure.
