Jennifer Hudson Wore Thom Browne Performing At The 2026 FIFA World Cup
Jennifer Hudson performed The Star-Spangled Banner live before kick-off at New York New Jersey Stadium ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, which Spain went on to win.

As expected, it was a goosebump-inducing performance.
Jennifer usually turns to a gown for these major televised moments, but she changed her usual formula on this occasion with a custom Thom Browne suit.
The Thom Browne signature was unmistakable thanks to the tricolour stripes on the sleeve, but it was the ribbon detail at the back that elevated the look. Flowing behind Jennifer as she sang, the red, white and blue ribbons subtly reinforced the patriotic significance of the moment.
You may also have noticed that anthem singers regularly wear white for pre-match performances, and it is not a coincidence. Even with Law Roach now styling her – whose work with Zendaya has made white a recurring signature – Jennifer still followed that long-standing tradition. You can read more about the tradition in The White-Out: Why Every Anthem Singer Wears the Same Colour.

Jennifer completed the look with Alaïa Le Coeur pumps and Tiffany & Co. jewellery, including Bird on a Rock earrings featuring more than 10 total carats of diamonds, a Bird on a Rock brooch set with a diamond of more than 12 carats, and Bird on a Rock and Lovebirds rings.
Stylist: Law Roach.
