Kim Kardashian’s Latest Look Comes With a Bridal Twist
Following the premiere of Hulu’s All’s Fair at the Rome Film Festival on Saturday, Kim Kardashian was back on press duties for the photocall.

The actress wore a Galia Lahav Fall 2027 polka-dot gown, fresh off the New York Bridal Fashion Week runway. With its corseted bodice, tulle-filled hip cut-outs and draped skirt, the strapless design creates the illusion of two separate pieces.
As you know, I wasn’t a fan of her archival animal-print look, but I adore this.
Yes, it is provocative, as we have come to expect from Kim, but there is also something playful and flirtatious about it. The black-and-white polka dots have a retro pin-up appeal, while the corsetry and lace-trimmed cut-outs reference vintage lingerie.

What makes this work for Kim is that it plays to her love of body-conscious dressing without feeling like another variation of a Demna look. The corset celebrates her silhouette, but the polka dots, gathered fabric and sweeping train take things in a different direction. Unlike her previous outing, which didn’t quite come together for me, this feels like Kim having fun with fashion again.
Is it just as cheeky at the back?

Of course it is. The cut-outs continue around the hips, while the sweeping train adds another layer of drama.
This is the Kim Kardashian I enjoy seeing on the red carpet. She hasn’t abandoned her signature aesthetic, but she has found a more interesting way to express it.

And while this is undeniably Kim-koded, I suspect some of you are still trying to get your heads around the fact that this is actually a bridal gown.
