Virginie Efira’s Saint Laurent Gown Is All About the Details

Virginie Efira attended the All of a Sudden premiere during the BFI London Film Festival on Saturday, delivering one of her best Saint Laurent looks to date.

As a long-time friend of the house, the French actress continues to wear Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, and few things capture his signature Parisian elegance better than this black satin gown.

Simple yet sensual, the twisted detail at the waist is what makes this dress for me. I love how the satin gathers around it, creating a flattering shape, while the sharp shoulders and plunging neckline give it that unmistakable Saint Laurent appeal.

It took me a while to become Team Virginie x Saint Laurent, largely because I spent so long missing her Dior days. But this is one of those occasions when I can fully appreciate the direction she’s taken. The dress is sophisticated, flattering and entirely suited to her.

Saint Laurent Amanda slingback pumps and a Cartier bracelet completed her look, with her softly waved hair adding to the relaxed glamour.
