Monica Barbaro Is a Vision in Blue Dior at the ‘Artificial’ Premiere

Monica Barbaro attended the Artificial premiere during the BFI London Film Festival on Sunday, wearing a look that suggests she’s finally finding her feet with Jonathan Anderson’s Dior.

It’s taken Monica a little time to find her sweet spot with the French fashion house under its new creative director, but judging by her recent outings, I think we’ve finally arrived. What I particularly love is that she hasn’t had to abandon her style sensibilities. Instead, she’s moved away from trend-led designs, like the pleated look she wore during Cannes, towards pieces that feel like a more natural fit.

And what a difference that makes. This Dior blue silk dress, embroidered with shimmering sequins, has all the glamour you could want for a premiere without feeling overdressed. I’m particularly charmed by the subtle ruffled hem, which adds a playful finishing touch. But as much as I love the details, it’s the colour that really won me over.

Silver Paris Texas Lidia mules and Ananya diamond scatter climber earrings completed her look.
