Sienna Miller Revisits Prada’s Ugly Chic at the Women of the Year Awards
Sienna Miller attended the Women of the Year Awards, held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Sunday.

The War actress, who went through a brief phase of favouring feathers on the red carpet, opted for a Prada Fall 2026 devoré georgette dress that explores a different kind of texture.
I’ve always been fascinated by the distressed, lived-in aesthetic that has circulated for years, so it’s interesting to see Prada revisit the idea through fabric manipulation. The contrast between the raw, frayed black fabric and the exposed floral sections is a great example of the house’s signature ugly chic. It’s unconventional, a little undone and all the more interesting for it.
But I know some of you will be looking at Sienna’s version and wondering why the dress has been cinched at the waist.
My first thought is that Sienna’s petite frame may have been overwhelmed by the looser runway silhouette, or perhaps she’s wearing a modified commercial version. Either way, the adjustment changes how the dress falls, particularly through the hips, where the fabric now gathers instead of hanging freely.
Given the choice, I would take the runway version. There’s something about the uninterrupted silhouette that makes the distressed fabric and irregular hem feel more cohesive. The dress already has so much going on texturally that I don’t think it needs additional shaping. What do you think?
Black Prada sandals completed Sienna’s look.
