Hunter Schafer Continues Her Colourful ‘Blade Runner 2099’ Fashion Run
Prime Video’s Blade Runner 2099 was presented during New York Comic Con on Saturday, with Hunter Schafer in attendance.
Having previously worn Marc Jacobs while promoting the series at San Diego Comic-Con, Hunter continued her run of interesting fashion choices in a Prada Spring 2027 look that once again wasn’t short on colour.
I love the clash of colours and prints. It’s playful and perfectly in keeping with Hunter’s willingness to experiment. The look also continues the bold colour story we’ve seen during her Blade Runner 2099 appearances, with the turquoise-and-black bandeau and vibrant pink skirt offering a similar retro-futuristic appeal. Whether it’s a conscious reference to the series or simply Hunter enjoying colour, I like the connection.
Despite not being the biggest fan of black shoes, I can appreciate why the runway’s black patent mules work here. Not only do they complement the graphic black detailing in both pieces, but their distinctive curved heels add another interesting element to the look.
This combination could easily have felt disjointed on someone else, but Hunter has a knack for making unlikely pairings appealing.
