Daisy Edgar-Jones Moves Beyond Method Dressing in Dublin
Daisy Edgar-Jones attended the Irish premiere of Sense and Sensibility at The Stella Cinema Rathmines in Dublin on Thursday.

The actress wore a Stella McCartney Resort 2027 white satin gown, which may initially look like another nod to the film thanks to its simple silhouette. White dresses were characteristic of the period in which Jane Austen’s story is set, with fine white muslin and silk among the fashionable fabrics of the era.
But I wouldn’t put this in the same thematic category as the custom Vivienne Westwood gown she wore to the London premiere. This Stella McCartney dress feels far more contemporary, particularly with those textured shoulder details.

And perhaps that tells us how Daisy intends to approach the rest of this press tour. The opening premiere gave us the clear nod to Elinor Dashwood, while subsequent looks have been more about fashion outside the world of Jane Austen.
I know many of you felt Zendaya and Margot Robbie kept their themes going for far too long on their respective press tours, so you may appreciate Daisy changing direction this early.
Boucheron jewels completed her look.
