Giulia Maenza in White Louis Vuitton at the Dolomites Classic Run

While Venice is filling up with stars for the Film Festival, Giulia Maenza was in the city for a different reason, attending the start of the Louis Vuitton Dolomites Classic Run 2026.

The Italian actress and model unveiled the trophy designed by Sabine Marcelis and produced by Venetian glassmaker Venini, which was presented in a bespoke Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunk handcrafted at the house’s historic Asnières-sur-Seine workshops. The Classic Run is a separate event from the Venice Film Festival, beginning in Venice before travelling through the Dolomites and concluding in Milan.

For the occasion, Giulia wore a white Louis Vuitton pleated gown, and Nicolas Ghesquière is having a generational run with white dresses.

There is a Grecian quality to Giulia’s gown, particularly through the softly gathered V-neck bodice and fluid pleated skirt, while the corseted waist gives the silhouette definition before the skirt falls into a trailing hem. But what appeals to me most is its simplicity. There are no unnecessary details competing with the silhouette, and the lightness of the pleating gives the dress all it needs.

Louis Vuitton Idylle Blossom High Jewelry earrings, featuring two LV Monogram Star-cut diamonds, and a matching ring completed her look.

Louis Vuitton’s presence in sport continues to grow. From crafting trophy trunks for the FIFA World Cup and Formula 1 to its longstanding ties with tennis, the house has become increasingly visible at some of the world’s biggest sporting events. The Dolomites Classic Run now joins that list.
