A$AP Rocky Wore AWGE To The Puma x A$AP Rocky Pop-Up

It has been a busy month of collaborations for A$AP Rocky. First came Fenty Skin, and now Puma.

The rapper was spotted leaving the Chinatown pop-up celebrating the launch of the Puma x A$AP Rocky Suede ’94 sneakers, a reimagining of the brand’s original ’90s-era Suede.

Considering Rocky is an ambassador for Chanel and regularly wears Saint Laurent and Celine, there isn’t often much room in his wardrobe for his own label, AWGE.

This was one of the rare occasions, outside of his runway presentations, where he was dressed entirely in AWGE. The patchwork button-down shirt and Bermuda shorts featuring a triple boxer-style waistband captured the label’s signature blend of urban streetwear and preppy dressing, giving familiar wardrobe staples an unexpected twist.

Styled with the Puma x A$AP Rocky Suede ’94 sneakers, A$AP Rocky x Ray-Ban sunglasses and a Chanel Maxi Flap bag, he was effectively a walking showcase of his many fashion partnerships.

The vintage-style cap and sporty white socks were about the only pieces that weren’t tied to one of his collaborations.

It was a clever reminder of how seamlessly Rocky moves between designer houses, sportswear brands and his own label without losing his distinct point of view.
