Which Samantha Morton ‘The Odyssey’ Press Tour Look Was Your Favourite?
Samantha Morton may have only had four looks during The Odyssey press tour, but they were enough to leave a lasting impression.

While I understood the thinking behind her opening McQueen look, particularly in relation to her character, it didn’t work for me. The concept was there, but it wasn’t flattering.
She then did a complete 180 at the London premiere in Bottega Veneta, delivering what was, for me, the standout look of her press tour. It was modern, confident and perfectly suited to her.

The Maison Margiela look proved to be the most divisive of the four, but it sat comfortably within Samantha’s personal style. The draped silhouette, layered textures and richly coloured scarf gave the look an artistic quality that felt authentic to her rather than simply unconventional for the sake of it.
I only wish the Willy Chavarria look had been saved for one of the main events, because it was my second favourite of the tour.
Considerably more understated than her other appearances, the clean, sculptural silhouette and sharp shoulders demonstrated just how effective simplicity can be when the cut is this strong.
My favourites: Bottega Veneta, Willy Chavarria and Maison Margiela.
Stylist: Karen Clarkson.
