Rihanna Wore Saint Laurent For The ‘Reasonable Doubt’ 30th Anniversary Celebration
Alongside Beyoncé, Rihanna delivered the other major surprise appearance at Jay-Z’s Reasonable Doubt 30th Anniversary Celebration at Yankee Stadium this weekend. It marked her first live performance in around two years, following her Super Bowl halftime show.

She reunited with Jay-Z to perform their 2009 hit Run This Town, before treating the crowd to her own anthem, Bitch Better Have My Money.
The beauty mogul wore a custom Saint Laurent leather two-piece trimmed with animal-free fur.
Considering that leather can be unforgiving from certain angles on stage, the sheer impracticality of wearing leather and faux fur in the middle of summer, and the possibility that she might be wearing one belt too many around the waist, you would probably expect me to say I wasn’t sold on this look.

Quite the opposite.
This is the Bad Gal RiRi I’ve been missing.

Her red carpet style has been inconsistent lately. The pink Balenciaga and Mugler look in Mumbai immediately come to mind, but this felt like Rihanna reconnecting with the confident, fearless style that made her such a fashion force in the first place. It has attitude, sex appeal and presence, and she wore it with the kind of ease that reminds you why so many of us fell in love with her style.
Jacob & Co. jewels, Saint Laurent SL 963 sunglasses and Saint Laurent Vendôme slingback pumps completed her look.
Stylist: Jahleel Weaver.
