Grace Gummer attended The Walt Disney Company’s Emmy Season Toast to TV at Soho House Holloway in Los Angeles, where her series Love Story is being campaigned ahead of the September ceremony.

Fresh from a tonal Bottega Veneta moment, this pivot into Dries Van Noten Fall 2026 marks a shift into something far more layered and complex. The floral motifs run through both the jacket and skirt, but the change in colour keeps them from feeling repetitive, instead creating a rich, layered effect that reflects the brand’s signature approach.

She kept the acid yellow shirt, and that flash at the cuffs adds a jolt that stops the palette from veering into a slightly matronly place.

It’s not the easiest look to translate off the runway, but Grace leans into the complexity rather than trying to edit it down, which works in her favour. The interplay between print, texture, and colour holds together without feeling diluted.

The shoes, however, don’t quite land. Opting out of the heavy floral-embroidered runway boots was the right call given everything happening within the look, but a cleaner sandal, or even a sleek pointed pump in a single tone pulled from the skirt – or the shirt – would have provided a more cohesive finish. As it stands, the shoes feel like the most disconnected element.
