Michael B. Jordan Wore Louis Vuitton To The ‘Swapped’ LA Premiere
Michael B. Jordan, who voices one of the lead characters in the upcoming animated film Swapped, attended the LA premiere held at the Netflix Tudum Theater this weekend.

The Oscar-winning actor’s awards season was a steady stream of mostly traditional tailoring, with some contemporary looks here and there, delivered in a largely dark colour palette, so I was delighted to see him lean into a lighter, more seasonal direction – following Matt Bomer, Connor Storrie and Calum Harper in setting the tone for menswear summer style.
The man clearly has a fondness for a cardigan (his Versace and Bottega Veneta cardigans immediately spring to mind), and this Louis Vuitton beige collarless style was paired with a simple white T-shirt and relaxed beige trousers. Opting for a cardigan over a blazer softens the overall look, making it feel more approachable and in tune with the lighter tone of an animated premiere, while the softer palette and easy silhouette feel like the right call for the occasion – striking a balance between polished, seasonal and laidback,
The most important part of this look? The footwear. I know some will wish he had opted for a lighter brown or a more tonal finish, and while this pair sits on the darker side of what I would have preferred, it still works within the look, and it’s refreshing to see him opt for brown leather loafers rather than defaulting to black.
Stylist: Jason Bolden.
