However, it must be said that this Armani Privé black silk-velvet coat, embroidered with delicate beading and paired with black lamé silk-satin trousers from the Fall 2024 collection, sits firmly among her best looks of this press tour. It also highlights why Armani Privé feels so right for her: the house’s clean, refined approach works in harmony with her style, allowing her to look at ease rather than overshadowed by the clothes, as we have seen too many times on this press tour.

Bvlgari jewels and cat-eye sunglasses complete the look.

With this marking her final appearance in Europe, the focus now turns to what comes next. A run of appearances in New York or Los Angeles – The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live! feel inevitable – could offer some fun looks to close the tour before the film’s May 1 release.

For a film about fashion, not all the looks hit the mark, so I’m hopeful for some redemption on the upcoming press tours for The Odyssey, End Of Oak Street, and Verity, all arriving later this year. There are clear opportunities to reset the narrative.
