Rowan Blanchard Wore Miu Miu To ‘The Testaments’ Cast Empire State Building Visit
Rowan Blanchard joined Chase Infiniti for The Testaments cast Empire State Building visit this week, fresh off the heels of the LA premiere, a look you didn’t really warm to.
She pivoted from high-gloss glamour to preppy in this Miu Miu bomber jacket and mini skirt, which taps into a distinctly ’90s back-to-school mood with its soft, brushed check and boxy proportions. It feels like a cross between Clueless-era prep and that slightly offbeat, thrifted-school-uniform styling Miu Miu has been pushing in recent seasons.
While this is a fun, youthful look, the top half feels a bit bulky. The volume of the zipped-up bomber, combined with the thickness of the fabric, sits quite heavily on her frame.
The mini skirt helps balance things out by keeping the proportions leggy and light, but I can’t help thinking that wearing the jacket open – or even slightly unzipped – would have eased that weight and given the look a more relaxed finish.
