Gugu Mbatha-Raw Wore Alessandra Rich & Rabanne To The ‘Fuze’ London Premiere & Photocall
Gugu Mbatha-Raw joined her co-stars Saffron Hocking and Aaron Taylor-Johnson on the red carpet for the Fuze London premiere, which took place last night, and the photocall earlier today.

As much as I love the colour, and how Gugu is giving us something different from the dresses we usually see her with this new silhouette from Alessandra Rich, I would remove one – if not both – of the bows on this strapless Spring 2026 red dress. That said, I understand that the bows align with her style sensibilities, and the second bow does help keep the slit relatively modest. You know my preferences, so it will come as no surprise that I would have opted for sandals over the black Roger Vivier pumps. Ananya jewels completed her look.
Photocall
This second look from Rabanne brings a welcome hit of sparkle to daytime dressing. The sequinned skirt catches the light beautifully, while the cropped jacket softens the look with a more classic, ladylike finish. It’s a strong contrast to the evening look, yet far more in tune with what we usually see from her.
Overall, this was a tale of two moods. The Alessandra Rich premiere dress felt like a push in a new direction, while the Rabanne photocall look landed with far more ease. Between the two, it’s the daytime outing that feels more aligned with her style, yet I love that she steps out of her comfort-zone for the premiere.
