Gwyneth Paltrow Wore Givenchy by Sarah Burton To The 2026 Actor Awards

When it comes to Gwyneth Paltrow, I have always been a bit of a nostalgia merchant, with her Iron Man press tours firmly at the forefront of my mind.

Then came the Goop era, where everything was pared back. I understand why she made that shift, but for me it lacked impact, as we saw during her “blink and you missed it” Marty Supreme press tour, so my expectations for awards season were lower than usual.

However, seeing her at the 2026 Actor Awards in a custom Givenchy by Sarah Burton drop waist black sequinned lace gown felt like a reset. This still sits within her minimalist framework, and she will always lean into her signature insouciance, but this is far from forgettable.

I love how the scattered sequins ensure this never reads flat under flash photography.

Givenchy’s black satin Naked bow sandals were a discreet finish, but the vintage Suzanne Belperron ear clips, dating back to the 1930s, are what elevate this from elegant to memorable.

I am adding this to her hall of fame, because this is the Gwyneth I have been waiting to see again.
