Hannah Einbinder Wore Willy Chavarria To The 2026 Actor Awards

If you have been here long enough, you will know that one of my favourite sayings is, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” And I have to apply that to Hannah Einbinder at the 2026 Actor Awards.

The Hacks actress was on a generational run with Louis Vuitton, and despite not being an official ambassador, she was often the recipient of some of Nicolas Ghesquière’s strongest work.

So this pivot to Willy Chavarria Fall 2026 like a gamble that did not pay off. I understand the desire to switch things up, but this is a sharp departure from what was working so well for her.

Ultimately, it comes down to the fabric, which reads more like black shag carpeting than eveningwear. The powder blue train only heightens the confusion, as it feels visually disconnected from the textured black front. I am also not convinced the proportions are doing her any favours.

This is a firm no from me. Chavarria has delivered strong womenswear, as we saw from the Spring 2026 collection, but this particular look misses the mark.

Rodo pumps and FOPE jewels completed her look, and her makeup is flawless, which only makes the dress feel like the weak link.
