Celebrities in Valentino for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards
Alessandro Michele dressed five celebrities for the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, and the results were more measured than many expected. The through line was individuality, with each look landing differently.

An Awards Season Pivot
Hannah Einbinder was the surprise inclusion, especially given her long awards season run with Louis Vuitton. After her Critics Choice Awards look failed to impress, this pivot came at the right time. This two tone Valentino Haute Couture look from the Vertigineux collection (similar to look 11) carried a calmer authority and a clearer sense of occasion. It suited her status and felt like a step forward rather than a detour. Brilliant Earth jewels completed the look.

Sharp With Flair
As one of the eveningâs presenters, Colman Domingo delivered one of his sharpest outings to date in custom Valentino. The brand ambassador look avoided playing it totally straight, with multiple custom diamond lily brooches by Boucheron introducing just enough interest to keep it distinct and very Colman.

A Style Split
I wasn’t feeling Leighton Meester’s Miu Miu dress following last weekâs strong Carolina Herrera moment. This dress lacked impact, pales in comparison and does nothing for her. Alongside her husband Adam Brody, he held the style line in a Valentino Spring 2026 suit. The cut and glasses nodded to a late 1960s to early 1970s intellectual menswear mood, adding character to the look.

It Just Works
Natasha Lyonne in Valentino continues to make perfect sense. This Pre-Fall 2026 halter sparkling dress felt natural on her and aligned effortlessly with her red carpet identity. At this point, an ambassador title feels overdue. But she is such a free-spirit that perhaps freedom to choose works better for her.

Effortless Precision
Omar Apollo stayed true to his individual streak in a custom Valentino satin suit by Alessandro Michele. The only surprise was how pristine it appeared. A quiet nod to fabric quality.
