Riley Keough Wore Chanel To The ‘Jay Kelly’ LA Premiere
In the absence of Amal Clooney and Laura Dern, all eyes fell on Riley Keough for the LA premiere of Netflix’s Jay Kelly held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood last night.

The Chanel ambassador stepped out wearing a look from Matthieu Blazy’s debut Spring 2026 collection. It’s not the most straightforward choice — but that’s exactly why I like it for Riley. She’s at her best when she leans into pieces that feel undone, a little rebellious, and slightly off-kilter in that downtown, lived-in way.
Even with that seam across the neckline of the sheer embroidered top, the overall look feels refreshing. It’s structured but relaxed, elevated yet instinctive — the kind of style language that once defined Riley’s early red carpet moments. The cropped double-breasted jacket and buttoned skirt exude a quiet confidence, while the embroidered sheer layer adds a hint of subversion under this newer direction.
The two-tone heels worked beautifully on the runway because the lighter shade blended seamlessly with the model’s skin tone, creating the illusion of a floating black strap. On Riley, the contrast is sharper, and breaks the illusion. Still, it’s a small quibble in what otherwise feels like a sartorial step forward.
Stylist: Jamie Mizrahi.
