Felicity Jones Wore Thom Browne To The WIF 2025 Honors
Felicity Jones is our gala gown girl, so seeing her switch things up for the WIF 2025 Honors held at The Beverly Hilton was an unexpected delight.

The British actress traded ethereal gowns for sharp tailoring, stepping into Thom Browne — a designer whose codes sit somewhere between preppy nostalgia and art-school eccentricity.
Her look from the Pre-Fall 2025 collection featured a shrunken houndstooth jacket layered over a pale blue satin skirt, complete with a checked shirt and striped tie. It immediately brought to mind 1940s Ivy League dressing — that meticulous mix of uniform and femininity — reimagined through Browne’s lens of meticulous eccentricity. It’s the kind of outfit that could have walked straight off a Wes Anderson set: equal parts prim and playful.
I love how Felicity leaned fully into the aesthetic with the matching houndstooth bag and two-tone heeled brogues. There’s a lot happening — prints, patterns, texture — but it’s all orchestrated with precision, resulting in an ensemble that feels cohesive rather than chaotic.
This look is such a refreshing pivot for Felicity. It’s collegiate with a twist, polished but witty, and proof that she can deliver a fashion moment even without a sweeping train or couture tulle moment. In short, it’s the kind of risk I hope we see her take more often.
Stylist: Nicky Yates.
