Kerry Washington Wore Carolina Herrera To The ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’ London Screening

Following the premiere which took place on Wednesday, Kerry Washington attended a special screening of Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery during the London Film Festival at The Soho Hotel last night. I suppose the film was so good, the audience wanted an encore — and Kerry certainly delivered one in fashion form.

For the change of scenery came a change of pace, as she swapped the glitz of her Oscar de la Renta gown for this Carolina Herrera pine-green asymmetric turtleneck dress from the Fall 2025 collection, complete with the house’s signature gold tulip brooch.

I didn’t realise sweater dress season was officially upon us, but Kerry makes a strong case for it — especially when it comes in this rich, forest hue. Some may find the oversized brooch a touch too much, but I love how it adds a sculptural, slightly glamorous contrast to the knit texture.

Matching pine-green suede pumps and a Delvaux Brillant top-handle bag tied everything together perfectly — chic, and seasonal. What more can you ask for?
