Doja Cat Wore Giuseppe Di Morabito On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon
Doja Cat stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last night to promote her new album Vie. During the interview, she opened up about the inspiration behind the record, describing how the music draws from the energy of the ’80s—an era she’s been openly fascinated with for years. She also spoke about how important it is for her visuals, performances, and fashion to align with the sound of the project, creating a fully immersive world for her fans.

We first saw this at the Outside Lands Music Festival, where she looked like a live-action Jem and the Holograms character, and then again at the VMAs, where she wore an ’80s-inspired Balmain look. And now, in a Giuseppe Di Morabito Spring 2026 ensemble, she’s continuing the story.
The oversized grey draped top with padded shoulders, styled with sparkling silver disco tights, purple gloves, and statement jewelry, felt playful, bold, and entirely rooted in the decade she’s channeling with Vie. Even her beauty look—big hair, dramatic Desert Diamonds earrings and necklace, plus blush-heavy makeup—was a love letter to ’80s glam that wouldn’t have looked out of place on an MTV stage in 1985.
What makes it work is that Doja isn’t just dabbling in retro references—she’s building an entire aesthetic around her new era. Like Madonna and Bowie before her, Doja thrives on reinvention. And with Vie, she’s reminding us she’s an artist who knows how to commit.
Stylist: Brett Nelson.
