Golshifteh Farahani Wore Maison Rabih Kayrouz To Le Pays d’Arto Locarno Film Festival Premiere
Golshifteh Farahani’s style has always leaned toward minimalism, often expressed in a sea of black. So when she stepped out at the Le Pays d’Arto premiere during the 2025 Locarno Film Festival wearing vivid orange, I was surprised.

Known to favour black around 70% of the time, this colour pivot felt unexpected, but not out of character. The gown, by Lebanese designer Maison Rabih Kayrouz, struck that perfect balance between boldness and ease. With its fluid lines, relaxed tailoring, and flowing silhouette, it embodied the designer’s signature refinement, all while subtly reflecting a shared Middle Eastern heritage that feels incredibly aligned with Golshifteh’s fashion ethos.
Personally, I’m always here for a dress with pockets, and when it comes in such a standout hue? Even better. With a simple updo and delicate gold jewellery, Golshifteh let the dress take centre stage.
