David Corenswet wasn’t the only one doing Superman promo duties yesterday. Rachel Brosnahan continued to give us strong Lois Lane energy as she lit up the Empire State Building—figuratively, though the look itself could’ve powered the lights solo.

Wearing a custom bright red Patou mini dress, Rachel reminded us that her love for retro fashion is alive and well. After a run of red carpet gowns that leaned into high glamour, she swung the pendulum back toward playful, feminine styling rooted in ’60s Parisian charm.

I’m fully behind this pivot. The mini dress hit all the right notes: vibrant, structured, with a sculpted silhouette that captured both elegance and attitude. It’s classic Patou under Guillaume Henry—youthful, joyful, with a crisp point of view.

The white collar made her choice of white pointed-toe pumps a natural one, while the cat-eye white-framed sunglasses doubled down on the vintage feel. Soft, loose waves brought in a modern softness that kept the look approachable and lighthearted.
