Julia Garner Wore Gucci To The Cannes Film Festival Vanity Fair Lunch 

On the opening day of the Cannes Film Festival, Julia Garner gave us exactly the kind of elegant glamour we hope to see sweeping the Croisette.

The actress, in town to promote her latest film Good Boy — directed by Jan Komasa and co-starring Stephen Graham and Andrea Riseborough — was spotted heading to the Vanity Fair lunch, and her look had all the makings of a classic Cannes moment.

Wearing a black halter Gucci dress — accented with the house’s signature horsebit — this could’ve read simple, but Julia knows how to elevate the moment. The accessories are what really did it for me. The oversized sunglasses had a touch of Old Hollywood mystery, while her yellow Gucci GG Marmont bag gave the whole look a playful jolt. Add the red lip, and we’re in screen siren territory.

It was all so effortless, so very her. If this is just the warm-up look, I’m officially excited. Remember that green Gucci moment from the 2023 festival? Expectations are high, and right now, she’s pacing herself beautifully.
