2024 DGA Awards: Menswear

Ryan Gosling and Matt Bomer attended the 2024 Directors Guild Of America Awards held at The Beverly Hilton on Saturday, and they both opted for tonal looks.

Ryan Gosling was of course dressed in Gucci.

The actor has gone from a summer of lovely pastel shades for his ‘Barbie’ promo tour, to rich dark hues for awards season.

I will always love Ryan in pastels any time of the year, but there is no denying how sartorially elegant he looks in red as this suit serves up both classic and artisanal tailoring through a contemporary lens.

Matt Bomer’s love for tonal tailoring continued at this event which saw the ‘Maestro’ actor on trend in terms of colour, as brown suits have been a surprising go-to in menswear this year awards season/

The actors the M.O. appears to be focusing on simplicity and understated elegance.
