Kim Jones dressed three celebrities โ one newbie and two familiar faces – in Fendi Couture for the 2024 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday.
Greta Gerwig is the Fendi newbie.
I adore how the directorโs style evolution continued wearing this sculptural black silk duchesse gown with matching gloves, inspired by the Fendi Fall 2023 Couture collection.
What I love most about Greta’s newfound style, is how she genuinely appears to be enjoying these fashion moments, almost as much as I am.
Jimmy Choo Gaia sandals, and Pomellato jewels completed her look.
You may remember that Princess Eugenie of York wore the green version to the Vogue World Party back in September.

Christina Ricci is the Fendi veteran by this point.
Which is why I was a little disappointed by this Fendi Fall 2023 Couture tulle gown accented with glass bugles, beads, and crystal stones embroidery.
The fact that the dress is sheer isnโt my issue. Itโs how unflattering this appears on her chest.
She had my approval of this nearly naked moment up until that point.
I also wish her Fendi First bag was smaller and in silver. The black bag feels too direct like a big exclamation mark.

Naomi Watts, another Fendi veteran, also wore a Fendi Fall 2023 Couture gown, but fared much better in this one shoulder design made of satin lame and embellished with all-over embroidery.
