Brunello Cucinelli Hosts ‘Una Serata Italiana’

On Thursday (October 19) Brunello Cucinelli and his family hosted ‘Una Serata Italiana’ (an Italian evening) at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
You may have noticed that we are seeing a lot more of Brunello Cucinelli luxurious designs on the red carpet lately, so this event showed the Brunello Cucinelli family’s appreciation.
There was only really one place to start. And that was with Patrick Dempsey.
If we were to label a celebrity Mr Brunello Cucinelli, Patrick Dempsey would be that guy.
The actor wore the label exclusively during the Venice Film Festival, to the TAG Heuer event and to the designer’s 70th birthday party.
No one embodies the Brunello Cucinelli man more than Patrick Dempsey, as beautifully demonstrated again here.
From the laidback, yet sophisticated elegance, and display of effortless styling, he was naturally one of the best dressed men at this event.

And then I saw Jay Ellis.
Some might say he is overdressed, as the actor was presenting a Brunello Cucinelli tuxedo which looks like it was destined for awards season, but we all know that Jay Ellis has several gears and levels.

While I’m disappointed we don’t have a full length picture of Chris Pine, I can see enough to know that he was one of the best dressed at this event wearing this striped Brunello Cucinelli suit.

Henry Golding has clearly spent the summer in the gym, and with that can come some challenges – just ask Henry Cavill.
But for me, the only challenge here was the footwear, as I’m not a fan of the brown shoes with the grey striped Brunello Cucinelli suit.

Gabriel Aubry never seems to age, as he looked as handsome as ever in this bright blue Brunello Cucinelli suit.
I love how the pocket square ties in the loafers.

Colman Domingo is usually one to lean towards bold colours and bolder styles, but he showed that he can do quiet luxury in Brunello Cucinelli.

There is an art to pulling off loafers and no socks, and I’m not entirely sure Jon Hamm has mastered it here.

James Marsden confirms that my feeling was right with his longer trousers.
What do you think?

Brunello Cucinelli stripes were very popular at this event, with Patrick Schwarzenegger also serving up a sartorial look in the trend of the night.
