A$AP Rocky & Rihanna’s Three New York City Date Night Looks

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been enjoying fashionable date nights, as the rapper celebrated his 35th birthday.

On A$AP Rocky’s actual birthday (October 3), the parents of two were photographed heading to Carbone in New York City, where the rapper wore a Bottega Veneta look which you could say is granddad inspired.

That is very much what I’m getting from this layered Prince of Wales blazer, tie, shirt and knit combo, with blue baggy jeans, and black boots.

However, the hot pink Bottega Veneta bag plus the assortment of pearl hair clips and earrings, gave the look his signature unique edge.

I feel like he was trying to convey a “thrown together” feel, but something tells me each part of this look was carefully considered.

Rihanna, who is sporting new Little Mermaid inspired red tresses, informs us that those Balenciaga knife pantaleggings are still very much on trend; styling them with a Cecilie Bahnsen Ubon jacket from the Fall 2023 collection, and a Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini tulle bustier.

I’m leaning more towards her look on this occasion.

For another date night three days later, Rihanna went the double denim route in Miu Miu which was uninspiring to me on account of the styling which included an Alexander Wang cropped shirt and Balenciaga Marie-Antoinette pumps, which deserved a better look.

A$AP Rocky‘s look was less cluttered wearing another top-to-toe-to-tote Bottega Veneta neutral toned ensemble.

Rihanna stepped out solo yesterday, giving us​ winter wool coat inspo wearing an oversized Dries van Noten Renwicks double breasted coat from the Fall 2023 collection.

For me, this was her best look of the three.

It’s cool, and effortless, with a Bottega Veneta pouch, from the Spring 2024 collection, tucked under her arm.

This oxblood red hue appears to be a new trending colour in arm candy. 

Rihanna styled all three looks with Gucci GG rectangle-frame acetate sunglasses.
