Kerry Washington Wore Giambattista Valli On The View

Kerry Washington was spotted on the Upper West Side today (October 9) in New York City, heading to a studio to tape her guest appearance on ‘The View,’ where she continued to promote her new memoir, ‘Thicker Than Water.’

I love the variety of her first four looks, but I’m struggling with this Giambattista Valli long-sleeve tweed mini dress.

Well. Actually. It’s not so much the dress, I would say my real issue is the styling.

The Brandon Blackwood bag works considering it’s tweed on tweed, but the Manolo Blanhik Suede Plinianuthi knee-high boots made this look feel a bit disjointed for me.

I think I would’ve been on board with the boots had the hemline been longer (knee-length).

Then we have the gold coin embellished, velvet black headband, which like the boots, feels like they were originally destined for a completely different look.

State Property Ellipsis ring provided the finishing touch.
