Issa Rae Wore Nina Ricci To The #BoF500 Gala 2023
Issa Rae attended the #BoF500 Gala during Paris Fashion Week on Saturday (September 30).
We wanted more from Issa’s promo tour for ‘Barbie,’ which didn’t see her taking any risk, but that changed at this event.
We love seeing celebrities have fun on the red carpet, and step outside of their comfort-zone.
But was this Nina Ricci Fall 2023 gown a risk that paid off for Issa?
I would 100% say yes.
I know some will be anti this look for the sheerness alone.
But I love the playfulness imbued by the metallic pink birds as cups, which have been enlarged from the runway.
Plus. This was a fashion event, where the freedom to experiment would be welcome.
And it looks like Issa exercised that to the 10th degree.
