Penelope Cruz Wore Giambattista Valli To The Geox SS24 Preview
Penelope Cruz attended the Geox Spring 2024 preview held during Milan Fashion Week to celebrate becoming the first-ever brand ambassador.
The Spanish actress will be representing the Italian brand in a worldwide advertising campaign split into two phases.
Stage one will coincide with the launch of the Geox Fall 2023 Collection, after which the actress will be back for a second Geox campaign dedicated to the Spring 2024 season.
If Geox aim was for Penelope to bring some glamour to the label, and the event, she certainly did so wearing this Giambattista Valli ruched off-the-shoulder dress from the Fall 2023 collection.
On the runway the dress was presented in a romantic pink hue, but I’m just as enamoured by the neutral brown hue of Penelope’s dress, as she presents a sophisticated colour palette that is not only perfect for the autumn season, but given the current penchant for minimalism and natural beauty, fits her personal style.
I would’ve loved some tonal accessories, as I’m not completely sold on the green and white floral bag, but the lighter neutral sandals do provide a contrast if tonal isn’t your thing.
Penelope also designed a capsule collection for Spring 2024 with her sister Monica Cruz which was showcased at the Geox preview.
The pieces are designed to suit contemporary women who privilege a practical yet imaginative style combining elegance and comfort.
The Spring 2024 capsule collection is set to launch February 2024.
