Georgina Rodríguez Wore Vetements & Ferragamo During Venice Film Festival

Georgina Rodríguez made her appearance on the red carpet for day seven of the Venice Film Festival on Tuesday (September 5).
Starting with the most dramatic look first, the model graced the red carpet for the ‘Enea’ premiere wearing an off-the-shoulder gown from the Vetements Spring 2024 collection.
The dress is majestically draped, but the styling really lets her down.
The Pasquale Bruni choker is overwhelming, plus I don’t understand why she’s wearing jewels with Amethyst stones, when she’s wearing a ruby red dress.

Seeing how the gown looked without the choker which was posted on Guram Gvasalia’s Instagram (CEO of Vetements) solidified my point.
The other issue I have is related to the white gloves, as I strongly believe that they cheapen the look.

I’m sure you’ve made the connection to Julia Roberts character in ‘Pretty Woman,’ but I still strongly refute the white gloves being a good idea with Georgina’s look.

For Georgina’s arrival the model wore a Ferragamo one-shoulder ombré silk-tulle mini dress from the Spring 2023 collection, which was inspired by the shades of a Hollywood sunset.
I’m not sure why she opted to cover the golden wrap brooch that gathers the fabric and holds the sash that flows from the back.
But I would guess that maybe she didn’t want to appear to be wearing a piece of jewelry that wasn’t from Pasquale Bruni, considering she is their ambassador.
When it comes to the styling, on this occasion I love how she made the look her own, and the red shoes were more powerful than the black sandals we saw on the runway.
