Dua Lipa Wore Valentino For Her 28th Birthday Dinner

Dua Lipa celebrated her 28th birthday by hosting a dinner with friends (including French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, friends Bashir Arab-Sanchez and Sarah Lysander Svendby Carter), her family and her boyfriend, film director Romain Gavras, who can all be seen in her Instagram post which she captioned, “Birthday dinner .”

The British singer looked stunning wearing a Valentino dress from the Fall 2023 Black Tie collection, which she opted to wear without the black tie.

Dua’s floor-length, intricately draped dress, was instead styled with a multitude of oversize Chanel necklaces, a look she has channelled many times before as she’s a true maximalist at heart.

Gold Chanel hoop earrings, Tiffany & Co. bangles, and diamond rings from Bulgari completed her birthday dinner party look.

I know some of you are looking at the high slit and feeling that this is a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen.

But considering she is on vacation, celebrating her birthday, and it was likely to be hot and humid, I would say that a potential wardrobe malfunction was the furthest thing from her mind.
