TongYao 童瑶 Wore Giambattista Valli Haute Couture To The 2023 Weibo Night Ceremony

TongYao 童瑶 won the Glamorous Actress Of The Year Award at the 2023 Weibo Night Ceremony on Saturday (March 25), and you don’t need to look past her red carpet look to see why.

The Chinese star is no stranger picking up accolades, as she previously won Best Actress Award at Magnolia, which is the most authoritative TV drama award in China, and Best Actress Award at Golden Eagle Award.

While she is known as a brand ambassador of Giorgio Armani, the actress opted to wear a look from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection.

As we know, these ceremonies can be princess gown heavy, and we know Mr Valli loves a princess gown too, so with that in mind I admire how TongYao opted to march to beat of her own drum – which is probably the reason she was honoured at this event.

While I love the sleekness of the black bustier and green wide-leg trousers, I’m most enamoured by the cape which is made unique thanks to the upturned feathers.

Jewelry from the Boucheron Quatre collection completed her red carpet look.

This was easily the best look from this event.
