When I first saw the singer in this custom Dolce & Gabbana silk Mikado opera coat embroidered with hand-made silk flowers in a degradé effect, my first thought was, “why do stylists put her in these overwhelming looks for major red carpet event?”
I get that Lizzo wants to make a dramatic entrance on the red carpet, but I don’t like the idea of her “hiding,” although giving a moment to her beautiful face and the stunning makeup can’t be overlooked.
When the coat was eventually opened, a silk corseted gown with crystal mesh Swarovski details was revealed and gave the new perspective to the look.
Lizzo accessorised with crystal embellished heels and sheer fingerless gloves.
Fingerless gloves are trending.
