Lily James Wore Oscar de la Renta To The 2023 Critics’ Choice Awards

Lily James and dramatic silhouettes are going hand-in-hand this awards season.

The majority of you weren’t on board with her Atelier Versace look for the Golden Globes, and something tells me you’re not going to be enthused by the Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2023 strapless gown she wore to the 2023 Critics’ Choice Awards.

While I do love the dress itself, everything under it is very perplexing.

Starting with how unflattering this appears on her chest, which looks to have been taped down resulting in them looking squished (for lack of a better word).

Then we have the lining which not only stops short, but it is also very distracting by being several colours lighter than her skin-tone.

I think the right intention was there, but ultimately this wasn’t a successful presentation of what could’ve been a great look for my girl.
