Giambattista Valli LA Dinner

On Tuesday (October 18), Giambattista Valli hosted a dinner held at Caviar Kaspia Los Angeles in California, so expect to see plenty of ruffles within this post. 

I’m going to start with Ciara who wore a Giambattista Valli crepe v neck bow mini dress from the Fall 2022 collection.

The dress is beautiful, the gold embellished Casadei Blade Mermaid boots tie in with the gold buttons.

But when it comes to the hair. I don’t know if the lights have made it appear a shade of green, but I really want Ciara to get back to her best.  With every look I’m losing hope.  I can’t lie. 

If you thought the Kiernan Shipka had turned a corner – style-wise – this pink Giambattista Valli Resort 2023 ruffled strapless dress showed that she’s still very much a girlie girl at heart. 

There had to be one gorgeous gown moment at this event, which was provided by Thuso Mbedu in this fresh-off-the-runway knotted Giambattista Valli tulle gown from the Spring 2023 collection.

Alexandra Daddario’s Giambattista Valli Resort 2023 mini packed a mighty punch.

Angela Bassett – aka the woman who doesn’t age – joined those who donned ruffles wearing a polka dot midi dress.

The look was styled with the new Giambattista Valli Flo Flo bag from the Spring 2023 collection. 

Kaitlyn Dever wore a Giambattista Valli two-piece look that proves that bouclé doesn’t have to appear old-fashioned or boring. 

I know some don’t understand how someone can wear an off-the-shoulder dress with tights, but this pink Giambattista Valli Fall 2022 dress was kinda short, so I’m guessing Kelsea Ballerini felt more comfortable styling her dress this way, or she was inspired by the runway/

I have to say – and you may be shocked to discover – I like the tights. It gives the look a Parisian air.
