Nicole Ari Parker was seen on the set of ‘And Just Like That…’ Season 2 – which is the follow up series to ‘Sex and the City – on the Upper East Side of New York City on Tuesday (October 11).
I have no context to what is going on here in terms of storyline, but considering the grandiose nature of this look, I would guess that perhaps Nicole’s character is headed to the Met Gala.
I mean, where else could one be heading wearing such elaborate and spectacular Philip Treacy hat — or should we call it a facepiece – in New York City?
I was just saying yesterday that Valentino red will forever be the heart of the brand, and here we have another red gown, but this one was especially designed by Valentino’s Creative Director Pierpaolo Piccioli for the show.
The hat does take centre stage, but one can’t ignore just how simple, yet glamorous the gown is, and that that is not to be attributed to the colour alone.
You know I can’t resist a cape.

For me the fashion wasn’t as exciting for season one of ‘And Just Like That…’
Hopefully this is a sign that they will be stepping things up for season two. I would love them to get back to every look being a runway look.
